"A true artist is not one who is inspired, but one who inspires others” (Salvador Dalí).
Salvador Dalí was born in Figueres, Spain on May 11, 1904, and died January 23, 1989.
He was considered one of the leading representatives of surrealism. Dali is known for his stunning and dreamlike surreal images. His pictorial skills are often attributed to his admiration for the Renaissance. He was also a skilled draftsman and worked on films, sculpture and photography, which led him to collaborations with other visual artists. He was able to forge an intensely personal and recognizable style.
